Over the last 30 years I have enjoyed what is often described as a 'protfolio career' in the Outdoors, being lucky enough to take on different challenges at different times of my life both to suit my professional development interests and life balance goals. 

This has given me the opportunity to work in Schools, Colleges and Outdoor Centres in a variety of roles from Teacher and Lecturer to Manager and most recently as a director of SUMMERADVENTURECAMP Ltd, an OFSTED registered provider of childcare specialising in fun and adventure, and E3ADVENTURES Ltd, a  peripatetic  AALA registerd provider of Adventurous Activities.

Throughout this time I have been lucky enough to visit and inspect many centres as an LOtC Quality Badge inspector and this has given me a holistic insight into the running and management of Outdoor Education provision that is based on multiple examples of best practice over many years.
